Glassmaker

Oh I can’t find my calipers that I will need to shape Master John’s bottle!  Sorry, I did not see you there.  My name is Robert, and I am the local glassmaker.  Every day I have to make sure that my fire is very, very hot.  Then I melt the river sand in the fire for one week, until it is the same temperature as the furnace.  Then I dip my blowing iron into the kettle.  I then blow really hard to make the bottle.  Finally I use calipers to shape the bottle until the bottle is the right shape.  The most difficult part of my job is heating the sand, because I might get burned.  Sorry, but I have to keep working.
