Good day. Welcome to The Rocky Inn. My name is Emily Rittenhouse and I am pleased to meet you. If it pleases you I will tell you about the delicious cornbread on this menu. On the ship to the New World we ate something called hardtack. Hardtack lasted for many years but it did not taste very good. When we got to the New World the Native Americans showed us something called mayz. Now we call mayz corn. We used the mayz to make cornbread. Thankye for coming to the Rocky Inn. I hope you enjoy your delicious meal.
