Good day to you, ladies and gentlemen. I bid you welcome to The Rocky Inn. My name is John and I work here. If it please you, come on in and have a hearty meal! The Rocky Inn has excellent food. I am going to tell you how I prepared one of the menus. I took plain, white paper and put it into dark, brown tea and left it in there for 10-15 minutes. I burned the edges of the paper after they had dried. The paper then had the color of sand. I wrote the name of the inn and drew pictures of it on the front page of the menu. Then I wrote the names of the main dishes, side dishes, breads, desserts, and beverages on the 2nd and 3rd pages of the menu. After that, I punched holes into the sides of the paper and threaded string through the holes. I had an old, sand-colored, finished menu.
