Slate Painting
"Craft Day in third grade is a wonderful opportunity for parents to see the children actually learning. They don't just read and look at the crafts of the period, but they actually make the object. That really makes the difference. Further, with many of the crafts, the children can work together in a spirit of cooperation and team work."
