Colonial women wore wool skirts. I learned that wool has a big, bad smell when it burns, so a woman knew if she had caught on fire. (Sara)

We watched a movie. It put all the interest into me. I enjoyed it a lot. It helped me think how their lives were back then. I said "Gee, it has changed a lot."(Kelly)

The Rittenhouse mill was ruined by a flood of the Wissahickon. It is now a museum to show us how things were made in colonial days. (Mira)
