Penn's Coat of Arms
By: Marissa

In the middle of my picture are the words “Dum Clavum Teneam” which means “I will hold my tiller true.” Those words were written in Latin. A tiller is a big metal blade that a horse pulls and makes a line in the grass. There's a shield in my picture with a line and three dots. There is a face shield for a suit of armor. There is a lion on top of the face shield. The lion is a symbol of strength.
