King Charles was born in February 6, 1630 and died May 29 1685. His father was Charles I and his mother was Henrieta Maria. King Charles’ father died on January 30 1649.
King Charles the II was William Penn’s father’s friend. King Charles did not like William Penn so he put William Penn in jail because he was a Quaker. King Charles II owed William Penn’s father 16,000 pounds. Instead of a large amount of money, the King gave him land.
