I drew a picture of William Penn, he’s the guy who Pennsylvania was named after. William Penn was born in 1644 and died in 1718. William Penn was put in jail plenty of times because he was a Quaker.                                                                                

When Penn’s dad died, the king owed Penn a large sum of money, but Penn took land instead. Penn went to the new world in 1682-1684 and again in 1699-1701.
