This is a picture of the garden at Pennsbury. In the garden grows flowers and herbs. William Penn had two gardens one in the front and one in the back. The one in the front had flowers and the one in the back had mostly herbs.
In this picture we are looking into a well. In the 17th century young boys wore a yoke. A yoke is a long piece of wood with a long piece of rope on the ends of it.The boys had to go down to the well and bring back a bucket full of water.
