| Reviewer: Alexandra B. '07 Emily of New Moon is about a
young girl, Emily, who goes to live with her mothers relatives when her father dies.
Emily feels unwelcome at first, but soon begins to like New Moon, the place where she
lives. She even makes some friends: Perry, a hired boy at New Moon Isle, a strong spirited
tomboy, and Teddy, a sweet artist whose mother is jealous of anything he likes.
I loved Emily of New Moon and suggest it to
anyone who loves a story with humor, excitement, joy and sadness.
