The Gingerbread Man, retold by
Eric A. Kimmel, is a classic folk tale. It is a story about a gingerbread
man who is made by an old women and her husband. After they make him, he
runs out into the world and antagonizes every person and animal he
meets. Soon everybody he angers, begins to chase after him. He finally
meets a smart fox who tells him he will get him across the pond, but the
fox tricks him and eats him. At the end the elderly couple make more
gingerbread people. This is a children's book, and I recommend it to
everyone because it has a good moral at the end.
