In this book a
boy named Tom gets a horse for the summer. The horse, Chancey,
is a former famous jumper. When the horse arrives, it is crazy,
and it doesn't seem like the same horse that it was before.
Tom works hard all summer to get Chancey ready for the Benridge
Horse Show. Everything is going well until Chancey's terrible
owner, Georgina, shows up to ride him in the horse show. Tom
is lucky enough to get to ride another horse. At the show
Georgina rides horribly and looses. Later in the book Georgina
gives Chancey to Tom because he saved her life while she was
on the beach at high tide.
I recommend this
book to people who like horses and enjoy adventure stories.
