I read a book called The Monsters Ring.
It is about a guy named Russell who goes to a magic shop one day and
buys a ring. He only has a dollar so the owner of the store, Mr.
Elives, gives him a magic ring and the instructions so Russell will
know how to work the ring. The next day he puts on the ring and reads
the directions. It says, "Turn the ring once." So he does and he
starts to grow horns! Hair covers his face and hands. Russell has
become..... a monster! Russell quickly learns how to change back and
forth from human to monster. But doesn't read the directions carefully
and when he puts the ring on the night of a full moon, and twists it
three times, Russell realizes he's having too much fun and doesn't
know how to change back.
