This book is a great fictional picture book about a boy who boards a train that is bound for the North Pole on Christmas Eve. The Polar Express is about believing in the meaning of Christmas. The Polar Express travels through forests packed with wolves, over hills, and across frozen seas. Santa gives the first gift of Christmas to this boy.

This book is beautifully illustrated. The pictures have vivid colors, but are kind of dream like.

This is my all time favorite Christmas book!
