This is a fascinating
science fiction story about a rebellion. The leader of the
rebellion is Van Kleek, a stubborn little fellow. He is so
desperate he threatens to blow all the conveyer strips to
pieces. The country depends on these large conveyer strips
to ferry cargo and people from place to place. So, when the
main 100-mile-per-hour strip suddenly stops, a rebellion is
suspected! Is Van Kleek reckless enough to carry out his threat?
If you have aspirations of being an engineer, and enjoy reading
books with a lot of scientific content, then this story will
surely intrigue you.
