The Slaves
of the Mastery by
William Nicholson is about how the Mastery comes about and
destroys the city of Armanath where twins, Bowman and Kestrel
are living. Luckily, Kestrel climbs up unnoticed on the Wind
Singer, an old tower, that the Singer people built. Unfortunately,
the rest of the town isn't so lucky and is taken prisoner
and become the slaves of the Mastery. For the first time in
their life, Bowman and Kestrel are separated. Using ESP, they
sense each other and know that the other one is alive. They
must both fight struggles to stay alive until they meet again.
