| Reviewer: Annie M. 08 Lennie is an
average boy who loves television. He is so involved in television that he will watch any
show, at anytime. Lennie is so addicted to television that he make up his own product and
calls it the "Friend". It is something that will never leave your side. Lennie
daydreams a lot, sometimes about money, sometimes not. But this time Lennie is in for a
thrill ride and this daydream could cost him his life. Read The TV Kid to find out
what happen to Lennie. On a scale from one to ten, I rate this book a nine because the
beginning is slow, but later it becomes more and more exciting.

The TV kid is named Lennie. He loves watching TV. On weekends in the winter, when
shore houses are empty, Lennie uses hidden keys to go into houses, but he does not touch
anything. One day he decides to go to "his" favorite house. He hides under the
house because a police car is coming. The police car keeps coming back to check the
houses. While hiding, Lennie hears a rattle. He looks at his ankle. It has two holes in
it. Lennies leg gets harder and harder to walk on. Will the police arrest him? Will
he survive the snake bite? Read The TV Kid to find out. 1/11/99 |
