The purpose of this experimentwas to measure the amoutof tar that came out of different kinds of cigarettes and to also inform people of the harmful damage that occurs when smoking. To do this experiment a smoking machine was built by connecting a tube to a bendable plastic bottle. The cigarette was placed into the open end of the tube and the bottle was squeezed until the cigarette was almost gone.
The results of this experiment were that Winston
was the cigarette with the least amount of tar
Marlboro came in second and Camel had the highest amount of tar.
