Show Me The Money

Sean B

The purpose of this experiment was to determine the odds of winning a hand of poker. To carry out this experiment few things were used. There was a human, a computer, a poker computer program, a notebook, and a pen or pencil. Once the person was logged on to the program and played 100 hands of poker on the computer and recorded the data. After the data was collected it was organized and the experiment showed that the player had won 43 times but lost 57 times

The conclusion to the project was that it is more likely to lose a hand of poker than it is to win one. The project could be expanded in a few ways if necessary. It could be expanded by having more players, players with different skill levels, and a higher number of hands played to make the results more valid.
