The purpose of this experiment was to test the probability of a random number generator. To make this experiment possible a program on the computer was built that would pick the random number. After the program was written the experiment took the numbers one through twenty and checked to see what number came up and how many times it came up after 1000 trials.
Upon the completion of this experiment it was found that each number came up around 50 times which was expected because every number had a one in twenty chance of coming up, and there were 1000 trials done, so if they all came up evenly they would come up 50 times. The average will always be 50 no matter what happens though.
