The purpose of this experiment is to find out if skaters have better balance than non-skaters of the same age. The first step is to record the subject's vital information ( name, age, sex, height, weight, handedness, and skater or non-skater ). The second step is to complete six different balance tests and record the data for each test. The hypothesis which was, "skaters will have better balance than non-skaters of the same age" was inconclusive because both of the groups were so close to each other. In the first test, the skaters averaged over non-skaters - 29.1 seconds vs. 27.8 seconds. In the second test, the skaters averaged over the non-skaters - 29.4 seconds vs. 28.5 seconds. In the third test the skaters averaged over the non-skaters -25 seconds vs. 24 seconds.

After the survey was conducted, the skaters came out on top beating the non-skaters - 27.8 seconds vs.26.8 seconds.
