The Effects of Fertilizer on the
Corn Plant?

The purpose of this experiment was
to see the effects of different fertilizer on the corn plant. In this experiment
four plant troughs were bought. Along with corn seed , fertilizer and a
plant gro-light. First the fore thoughts were filled with about 3mm of soil.
Then 1 to 2 seeds were placed inside. The plants were divided into four
plant groups. A water, B- 1.25ml of fertilizers, C-15.00,D- 60.00ml of fertilizer.
The plant grolight was set up and the experiment was off. Everyday the plant
were watered and every other day they were fertilized.
After this experiment was done the
results were that plant group A had the best height, Second was B with 1.25
ml of fertilizer C with 15.00 was third and last was D with 60.00 ml of
fertilizer.After this I realized the elements the plant needed were in the
water. The plant group with B 1.25 was close. But C and D were way off.
The element s they gave the plants were way y to much. Next time I think
the fertilizers should be lower.
