What Material is Best for Growing Marine Plant Life?
The Purpose of this experiment was to find out what material is best for growing marine plant life. To run this experiment, a marine environment was made with a 20 gallon fishtank and water from the Atlantic City marsh area. The materials of wood, concrete, aluminum, and PVC pipe was put in the tank. Their plant growth was checked every week. The plant life was measured in grams.
After completing ths experiment, th concrete had grown the most plant life. On the fourth week, the concrete had grown .4 grams of plant life. On the sixth week, the concrete had grown .9 grams of plant life. Wood grew some plant life, but it was so little that it could not be measured. Aluminum and PVC pipe had grown no
