Benjamin Franklin was a very important man because he built the first library and fire station. Also, he was an inventor. He invented things like a stove and a chair. He was an ambassador for our government. He went to New Jersey, Philadelphia, Boston, and England.
Franklin was born on January 17, 1706, in Boston, Massachusetts. He died on April 17, 1790, when he was 84. He married Deborah Reed in 1730. He was one of 17 children.
I made this stamp of Benjamin Franklin because
it has been a long time since he had one about him. Also, he is smart and
important. Benjamin Franklin is important because he helped write the Declaration
of Independence. He wrote , "We must all hang together, or assuredly,
we shall hang separately." He was also a delegate to the Constitutional
Convention in Philadelphia which wrote the new Constitution in 1787.
