??????????Fifth Graders' Predictions??????????

Here in Fifth Grade, we all basically had the same predictions. Since our study was all about comparing body weight to backpack weight, we predicted that middle school would have the highest numbers; since they lug around their backpacks all day and have so much homework. We also figured that even though the upper school kids have even heavier backpacks than middle school kids, the middle school students don't weigh as much, making their backpack weight ratio higher.
We thought that middle and upper school females
would have a higher percentage of backpack weight since they usually weigh
less. We didn't have much of an opinion on younger students such as Pre-K,Kindergarten,
First Grade, Second Grade, andThird Grade, since at that age you don't get
much homework and the difference in weight between boys and girls is not
very high.
We were very interested to see what our data looked like, and now we can finally see how many of our predictions turned out to be right, and so can you!
