Sung Fu and The Terrible Habit

by Karin

One day, Sung Fu was told to go to the market. He got up and said, "Okay mother," and off he went.

But instead of going to do what his mother told him to do he went to Wai Fong and Hu's house. He talked for hours and hours until his mother went to look for him and found him in the wrong place. She was furious. She told him she was extremely mad.

The next week, she told him to clean his room and then the house. He didn't do either.

One day, when Wai Fong and Hu were over at Sung Fu's house, Sung was told by his mother to cook some rice while she went to see the Emperor Yangtze Fu in the village square. Instead, he talked to his friends. When she came and saw the rice on the counter she went to Sung Fu and said, "Do not procrastinate in doing things and the dragon will not harm you." And then she walked out.

Hu said that he should listen to his mother and Wai Fong said he should do his chores only when he felt like it.

Sung Fu chose to do what he wanted do when he wanted to do it.

One day, when Sung Fu was talking to Hu about what he should do because he had been grounded for a week, his mom came in and told him to clean the house, the kitchen, and to cook some rice while she was gone.

When she came back all of it was done and the vegetables were cooking and the table was set. Sung Fu had learned his lesson and from that day on he always did what he was told.
