I decided to climb one of the towers that was made for shooting arrows onto enemy ships. The mast and sails were already taken down and put away for the night in case a storm blew through we wouldn't want the ship to blow away during the night. After a while I went back into the shore and went to bed.

Nest Day, Battle of Actium
September 2, 31 BC

I was woken abruptly this morning when my assistant came in and told me that Antony had been sited just off the coast aligning his troops. A feeling of panic and fear came over me. I felt sick, I wanted to throw up. My throat was dry and continually shrinking. "What will I do, how will I align my ships, and were the heck is my cloak", I muttered to myself. I was throwing my cloths all over the place looking for it. I remember putting right next to my gladius, yet there is my gladius and no cloak. My servant asks if he could help and I sharply answered him telling him to leave me. "Where is it!" I was screaming extremely loudly. "This is the most important day of my life I must be properly attired." I went outside with out my cloak I did not have enough time to find it. We left immediately after I came out of my quarters. My boat was a quinquiremes. It was the largest in the fleet containing five rows of oars.
