ARCHIMEDES

Archimedes (287-212 BC) was one of the most influential people in history. The world as we know it would not be the same if Archimedes had not made his contributions in physics, mathematics, mechanical engineering, science, and literature.

Archimedes was a well-known and well-liked Greek man in the center of Greek culture at his time, his home, Syracuse.
