Tiberius Claudius Drusus Nero Germanicus or as most know know him, Claudius, was born on August.1,10 BC and he dies on October.13, 54 AD in Lyons in Gaul. Claudius was a Roman Emperor from 41 to 54 AD. Many believed that he was an odd emperor. Claudius was the nephew of Tiberius and the grandson of Livia Drusilla or just Livia. There was a negative side of being an Emperor for Claudius. It is said that he had "congenital defects." Congenital means, "existing at or before birth." Some examples of what he had were: he stuttered, he had a limp, and he drooled. But on the other hand Claudius was not a stupid man. He was a reader, a writer, and he learned many things.
