Tigers at Twilight

While reading the book, Tigers at Twilight, the children made a visual summary of the book’s theme, main characters, and setting.  Since the story is #19 within the Magic Treehouse series, the treehouse represents the central theme of their visual.  The children learned about the habits of the Indian tiger, langurs, the rhinoceros, and the python, as well as a little bit of geography since the story takes place in the country of India.

This fictional story also helped them learn about endangered animals and everyone’s responsibility to aid in their preservation.
