The Moose

I studied the moose. It has dark brown fur. It has hooves for its feet. The bottom of its feet are white.

Moose live in Alaska and Maine. They also live in Europe and Russia. They are called elk.

The moose is an herbivore. That means they eat plants. They eat all day long. Some of the plants they eat are
willow twigs, roost, and grasses.

The female moose is called a cow. She has a calf once a year. When born the calf weighs between 25 and 35 pounds

I got my information from several different places.
