Math with 8th Graders!

On Thursday, February 27, Mrs. Haddad’s eighth grade advisory joined Mrs. Vernon’s and Mrs. Rink’s first grade class for some math games. The eighth graders chose to work with a Lower School class as their CSO project.

They helped the first graders practice their developing math abilities by playing games using addition, subtraction, and money counting skills. Bingo, dominoes, and “Sum Swamp” were among the favorites.

By the end of the time it was questionable as to whether the first graders or eighth graders had a better time!
