This is Jeopardy!

Discovering what we actually remember about topics that we have discussed thus far this year can be a moving experience. But when you review with “Alexia Trebecci” from the game show Jeopardy, it can be exhilarating!

The children had a lot of fun sharing what they have learned this year in Social Studies in the form of a game show as we reviewed such topics as Citizenship, Presidents, Map Skills, and Christopher Columbus. Some of what they learned was very easy to recall while other information was right there on the tips of their little tongues. Many were even challenged with how to manage their natural competitive spirits as well. Therefore, even during our review lesson, they learned so much from their incorrect answers as well as from their impulsive natures!

Hopefully Ms. Trebecci will visit 1J, 1V, and 1W again and the children will hear those words…”THIS IS JEOPARDY!”
