Carnotaurus means meat-eating bull. This was a good name because it had horns like a bull and ate meat. Carnotaurus weighed one ton and was 30 feet long and 15 feet tall. This dinosaur lived in the Cretaceous period. This dinosaur's fossils were found in South America in 1985. Carnotaurus had horns on its head like a bull because it could hit other dinosaurs. This dinosaur had bumps on its skin. This dinosaur almost had teeth as sharp as T-Rex. This dinosaur didn't have long arms. Carnotaurus walks on two legs. This dinosaur had a long tail. This dinosaur was really wild and if it came to your house, food is gone and you are gone, too. Carnotaurus didn't like water so it probably smells. Scientists think that Carnotaurus was camouflaged in its surroundings. Carnotaurus' skin was as tough as a rhinos and few creatures dared to confront Carnotaurus. This dinosaur was a carnivore. It ate meat. Carnotaurus had big nostrils. In the prehistoric time it was wet and hot. Dinosaurs had to put leaves on their eggs to keep them warm. Some dinosaurs built nests near the same kind of dinosaur nests, Maybe Carnotaurus did that, too.
