Children wrote creative stories with dinosaurs as the main characters. Some children chose to write a creative story about the dinosaur they had selected for their information reports. Others wrote stories about several dinosaurs from the same time period. The children wrote their first draft. After conferencing with a teacher and making all necesary corrections in order to polish their piece, each child divided his/her story into individual pages and typed the pages on the computer. The children drew pictures to accompany each page of their story. The stories were later bound into a booklet, and published in their classroom.
