After listening to examples from the book Terrifically Tantalizing Tongue Twisters, the students prepared to write their own tongue twisters with an insect theme. They brainstormed lists of nouns, verbs, and adjectives that began with the same letter as their assigned insect. They then referred to these word lists as they composed their respective tongue twisters and added an illustration.
