The field trips for our Native American unit include a trip to Peace Valley Nature Center (for a tour entitled "The Way of the Lenape," a picnic lunch, and a chance to play in the great outdoors) and to the Elwood Brunt Lenape Museum. We are fortunate to receive a tour of the Brunt Museum from Mr. Brunt himself, octogenarian, owner and "curator" of his small museum in nearby Lansdale, which is essentially a collection of Native American artifacts he has gathered over his life time. You too can meet Mr. Brunt and browse through the artifacts of his museum by browsing through our photo album and reading our journals.
