For the base of the mask I used brown paper. I used funky colored paper for the eyelids and red paper for the lips. I chose the colors because I thought they stood out more than other colors. I used hole punches on the cheeks so it would look more African. I thought the eyelids were the hardest part because you had to curve them with your hands. I think it would be used for scaring bad spirits. I thought I did a good job on my mask because I did things other people didn’t do like I put horns through the nose.
