Hi, my name is Ellen David. I am a toy maker.
I make all different kind of toys. I make paddles, pins, and wooden balls, Jacob’s ladders, and yarn dolls. To make a yarn doll I have to wrap the yarn around a book 50 times. Then I cut some yarn and tie it around the top of the head. Then I cut the bottom of the yarn. That forms a skirt. Then I wrap it.

Hello, my name is Margaret Peterson. I am a toy maker.
Every morning I walk to my shop and on the way I collect wood. for toys. When I get there I meet my partner, Ellen Davids. Then I start to cut the wood I collected for a Jacob's Ladder. I cut it with my saw into square blocks. When I'm done that, I start to sand them with sandpaper. When they are smooth, I weave between each clock with ribbon special way to make a Jacob Ladder work.
