Hello, my name is Rachael Hopkins. I am a Wigmaker.
When I wake up in the morning I get dressed. Then I go to work to finish a wig or start a wig. This is how you make a wig. First, I take measurements of the person's head, and then I make a net cap. After that I knot hairs to strong silk thread. The thread with the attached hair is sewn to the net cap beginning at the nape of the neck and ending at the crown. Then the hair is curled using clay rods. The nape of the neck is the neck and the crown is the top of the head.
