As students read their biographies they record important dates in their subjects lives along with relevant historical events that correspond to these dates. Once the children have collected this information, they use the software Timeliner to construct timelines. The program arranges biographical dates and events into chronological order. The students add titles and graphics to these timelines to create greater visual understanding.
