Homework

  Homework:

Homework is given as reinforcement to a lesson or a continuation of an idea that was introduced in the classroom. We know that homework can be difficult and can create tension for both parent and child. Parents can best support children by setting aside adequate time and a quiet place for their children to complete homework. We understand that it can be difficult to answer your child's questions while still encouraging independence. If you feel that an assignment is not within a child's grasp of understanding, please write a note to the teacher.

In general, homework should not exceed one-hour and fifteen minutes each night. We expect students to read for thirty minutes each night leaving forty-five minutes to complete other assignments. In the event that the homework is not completed within the allotted time, please write a note to the teacher.
