Fall Leaves

I know it's fall when I see colorful leaves,
leaves that whistle as they fall from the trees.
Although fall air seems so clean and cool,
leaves give warmth to the season as they change in color.
Red, like warm flames of fire in the fireplace.
Yellow, like the sun in the bright blue, crisp sky.
Orange, like sweet, delicious pumpkin pie served on Thanksgiving.
Brown, like the peanut butter sandwich I eat for lunch.
Leaves, no matter what color,
are beautiful to watch as they fall!
