Tiny Hero

In the darkness
Something beckons you to wake
An inner voice whispers
"It's time"
Your miniature body
Yearns for freedom
And you struggle
To break out
With persistent knocking
Against the walls
That surround you
You emerge
Exhausted
But bright-eyed
Into the light
Downy-soft
Colored with the hues of the earth
Unaware of your size
Unafraid of your fragility
A tiny hero
