Fourth grade incorporates technology into the curriculum. We continue to strengthen keyboarding skills. Word processing is used regularly to write stories, poems and reports. Children learn to scan images and text to enhance their research projects. Projects include a fourth grade wide newsletter, an African-American biography scrapbook, web page presentations, and e-mail exchanges. Children use Internet search engines to gather information related to the curriculum.
