Horse on a Cliff

Once there was a boy named Chung, who was a very adventurous boy. He was studying Chinese history in school. He was reading a book about the first emperor and the Great Wall of China. He also read the emperor was buried with terra-cotta warriors. It said they were already 7,000 found but there may be more somewhere outside of Xian China. He laughed at the idea because that's where he lived.
Chung had lots of friends and one day they decided to dig a well. When he found where he would dig the well everyone started digging and came across something that looked like a face made out of clay. Suddenly he remembered the book he read about Qin, the first emperor. It said that there still could be some buried.
Chung's friends took it as a joke. They dug it up and started playing with it. Chung also remembered his Paw Paw saying that the terra-cotta warriors were important and valuable.
Chung again tried to tell his friends
to stop and Chung went over his friend to try to grab it. But
Chung's friend pulled away and one of the legs broke off. He tried
to tell his friends to stop and take it to a museum, but it was
too late.
Chung had thought to himself shortly after it broke, in a sad
way, a Chinese proverb, "when the horse is on the brink of
the cliff it's too late to pull on the reins."
