There once was a man who lived in Shanghai. His name was Bright Star. Bright Star lived on a junk. Bright Star's junk was located in the Jiande River. The Jiande river was a long, brownish colored river. Bright Star's junk was a small red boat. The boards were broken or rotten, but Bright Star had a good life. Bright Star had no friends or family.

The only possessions he had were small crystal balls and a couple of hundred pure diamond ear rings and a very cute dog. Most of the people in town hated Bright Star or had never heard of him. Most people in town would punch Bright Star whenever he stepped out of his junk and to on the dock.

The only people who he knew were his robbing partners. Their names were Ching and Chang. Ching and Chang were brothers and Ching was older than Chang. The three of them formed a group called "The Best Three Robbers In The World." The Emperor's spies did not know any one in the group. The Emperor's spies also did not know where the headquarters was located.

The three of them made a plan to steal the biggest crystal ball that the earth had ever made. They got fireworks from a town near to them. The reason they got fireworks from that town is because the shop owner couldn't tell the Emperor's guards. They also got the other materials they needed, which were rope, a wagon with hores, and knives.

They set the fireworks off and went inside. When the first firework went off, the guards ran out to see what was making that noise. Bright Star and his group got to the crystal. Just when they were taking the crystal, Chang said, "That he wants to carry the crystal back to our wagon."

But Ching said, " I want to carry the crystal back to our wagon too."

While both Ching and Chang were arguing, Bright Star got tried of listening to them so he just took the crystal. When he reached the wagon, he drove off. He headed for his junk. He took all the stuff he liked, including his cute dog. After taking all of the stuff he wanted, he went straight back to their headquarters. When he reached their headquarters, he headed for their hoard of stolen treasure. He took the crystals, diamonds, rubies, and jade that they had stolen from the rich landowners.

He hopped back into the wagon and headed north where he changed his name. He had never got caught.

Ching and Chang were put behind bars. They were not let out until the day of execution.
