In the green grass, Rabbit was munching on a stick of bamboo. He saw a few children playing in the big field collecting some rice in a big dish with a silvery, gold dragon painted on it. The dish was painted red around the dragon, it had lots of detail. After Rabbit was done, he started running off to his home until he bumped into a big black and white thing furry thing.
Rabbit looked down and saw four gigantic claws that were almost the same size as he was. He felt some wet spots drop on him and looked up to see if it was starting to rain. Then he saw a huge mouth with teeth twice the size of the claws. This huge mouth was wide open with streams of liquid dripping out of it.
"Oh, no!" Rabbit said in his little squeaky voice, which he used when he was scared. He started to run away like lightning. He kept running and running. Poor Rabbit was out of breath, he looked behind him and saw Panda gaining on him. He kept running and running, until he stopped and saw a huge hole in the ground. Before he went into the hole, he saw that Panda was very close to him. He jumped in the hole where there was complete silence.
In the dim light, he saw a dragon, like the one on the dish that the children had been carrying. He still could hear the growling of Panda who wanted to get into the hole. Then he stared at the dragon. He was not like other dragons, he looked old and wise. In his hand were two balls that jingled when you shook them. "They must be something like concentration balls to help you gain strength," Rabbit thought.
"Wisdom is better than weapons of war," the dragon said in a wise voice.
"Wait! Where are you going?" the rabbit squealed. But the dragon had disappeared into a dark tunnel. Rabbit was too scared to go in there.
Then he thought," I know! That dragon was the wisdom, and Panda who wants to eat me is the weapons of war! I have to stop him from doing this," he said in his little squeaky voice again.
Then Rabbit started out of the dark hole and continued to run away from Panda.
"Wait!"
Rabbit turned around so fast that Panda almost tripped over him. "Can't you see that you are trying to hurt a poor innocent animal like me?" Rabbit shouted. Panda was so surprised at what Rabbit had said, that he stopped chasing him.
"But that is my life," Panda said.
"Here, let me tell you something: Wisdom is better than weapons of war," he whispered into Panda's ear. Panda began to think about this and started to cry.
"I'm sorry," he said while he was crying, "I don't mean to, it is just, this is what I do for my life."
"Here, try munching on this. It's called bamboo. They taste good. Panda took some from Rabbit's hand and popped it into his mouth. Even though it was a small piece, he loved it.
" Mmmm," he said as he took another piece out of Rabbit's hand. "These are really good," he said with a smile." Let's go to your home and eat some more."
"OK," Rabbit said with a smile.
Rabbit and Panda were friends forever.
THE END
