BY THE COMING DEW OF DAWN
By Lucy
In the bloom of an orchid,
In the hum of a hummingbird,
The forest and the species will all be blurred.
In the howl of a monkey,
In the ribbet of a frog,
The forest will disappear in a fall of fog.
In the snap of a tree,
In the mist of rain,
You and your friends will all feel pain,
For the forest,
It may all be gone,
By the coming dew of dawn.
