SAVING THE RAINFOREST

By Heather S.

The trees of the rainforest

Falling to the ground,

Is a sad sight in nature

No living plants to be found.

If we keep destroying

The land of our survival,

The prices we pay to live

Are simply not arrival.

Every second of the day

A species that persisted,

To live will soon be gone

Before we knew it existed.

We should cherish our land

We don't have much of it,

The aliens even want it

This land they covet.

We are cheating ourselves

Not allowing our minds to expand,

On natures true identity

And we are falling into people's demand!
